KARLIONDELONews (karlion.si) Frequently asked questions
Clear answers for job seekers and employers.
Search and applications
How do I find relevant jobs?
Combine several search filters: country of employment, location, work arrangement and other criteria. Remove individual selections or reset all filters. Open “Advanced filters”, type a word within a filter and select a suggested option. You can choose several countries, categories or other options. Options within one filter are combined; different filters narrow the search together. The option search field clears after selection. Choose “Show results” to close the window and return to the list. If nothing matches, remove the most restrictive condition first. Signed-in candidates can name and save a search using the save options. Promoted listings have priority; profile matching does not guarantee employment.
How do I create a job seeker account?
Choose the job seeker sign-in and “New account”. Verify your email address and set a password. Job seeker accounts and employer profiles are separate. Start in the candidate portal, not the employer portal. Enter your email and open the confirmation link in the message you receive. Check spam and the spelling of your address if it does not arrive. Never share passwords or confirmation links. If you deleted your previous account, begin a new registration: old CVs, applications and preferences must not carry over. If you see a removed-identity message or an unexpected profile, sign out and contact support rather than submitting repeated requests.
How do I choose a CV for an application?
Manage your CVs and default selection in your profile. Before submitting an application, check the selected document and the information you will share with the employer. Your default choice is the document you want to use for new applications. Still check its preview and filename before sending: an uploaded PDF and a CV created on Karlion are different documents. Keep contact details, experience and attachments current. Changing the default CV does not automatically replace an application already submitted. Follow the file size and type limits shown during upload. If scanning fails or the file is damaged, fix it before trying again. Include only sensitive information that is necessary for the application.
How do I track my applications?
View applications and their statuses in your job seeker account. For jobs with external applications, complete the process on the employer’s official website, as stated in the listing. Open an individual application to see its available status and communication. A portal status does not necessarily mean the employer has made a final decision or will respond within a particular time. For external applications, check the destination and complete the employer’s steps. Use the share button to share a job; its link does not share your private CV or application history. Use the contact in the listing for questions about the recruitment process.
For employers
How does a company start posting jobs?
Create an employer profile, complete the company details and request verification. Verified companies with a badge publish and edit listings directly. Companies without a badge can prepare and submit listings. Publication awaits company verification and happens automatically afterwards if the quota and deadline remain valid. Package limits and listing validity apply to all. Enter the company’s actual name and details, add its logo and set an account contact. A verification request is not an approval. Follow its status and any requests for additional information in your account. Before posting, check the title, location and country of employment, responsibilities, requirements, deadline and application method. Access to the talent database is different from reviewing candidates who applied to your job; extra features depend on the plan. Companies with a badge publish directly; listings from companies without a badge await company verification and publish automatically afterwards if the quota and deadline remain valid. Editing does not extend the listing deadline. Company verification does not replace payment for an upgrade.
Where are plans and upgrade requests?
Plans and pricing are available in the employer account. Request the service you want; Karlion manually approves activation after payment is verified. A request alone does not unlock paid features. Select a plan or service and submit a request. Payment is based on a pro forma invoice; features activate only after Karlion verifies payment and approves the request. A payment receipt may help verification, but is not itself an activation approval. Check validity, available postings and promotions in your account and offer. You can edit an existing job during its validity without extending its deadline. Reposting is a new service. Campaigns have separate terms and remain paid during the introductory free period. Contact support for a tailored offer.

Can I change the portal language and appearance?
Use the display settings in the header to choose Slovenian, English or Croatian and the Cream or Cosmic appearance. Individual job content may remain in its original language. The selection applies to buttons, instructions, windows and other interface text throughout the portal. Check the selected language label. A listing without an available translation does not mean your account language has changed. Cream is the light appearance and Cosmic is the dark appearance. Open settings in the header to change either at any time. If another page unexpectedly changes language or contains unreadable text, send support its address, selected language and appearance.
What do account freezing and deletion mean?
Freezing and requesting deletion are separate options in account settings. Read the consequences before confirming. Data retention and your rights are explained in the privacy policy. Freezing is temporary; deletion removes the profile under the terms shown. Check which action you selected and export documents you want to keep before confirming. Signing in again is not a substitute for registering anew after permanent deletion. Some records may require statutory retention or limited backup retention. This does not permit a deleted profile to reappear publicly or be restored on a new registration. Refer to the privacy policy or support for scope, time limits and requests. Never send passwords or identity documents without an appropriate secure process.
